Nelson’s areas of expertise include Government Contracting, Corporate Supplier Diversity, International Procurement Compliance, and small business financing. Nelson has dedicated his career to developing and growing small, minority-owned, women-owned, Veteran-owned, and other economically disadvantaged business enterprises. He led a Global Supplier Diversity program targeting the U.K., U.S., and India in the private sector. Nelson directed and implemented strategic procurement objectives that directly impacted diverse spending increases across multiple lines of business. He leveled the playing field for diverse vendors to compete for opportunities in a billion-dollar supply chain.
